CHAPEL HOUSE
With the announcement that hospitality can re-open soon we have been seriously thinking about our plans.
As it stands Chapel House will not rush to re-open in the near future.
This is so we can see how the ‘new normal’ will work and learn people’s expectations so we can protect ourstaff, neighbours and customers.
We have also had some significant changes, particularly losing Gareth’s Mum at the end of March.
We will update social media with any further plans.
Keep safe, be patient and be kind.
Tea room & craft shop in the heart of Dunster
Established in August 2015 you’ll find Chapel House tea room and craft shop on historic West Street in Dunster, directly opposite Dunster Castle’s West Street entrance.Dunster itself is on the edge of Exmoor National Park and the coast! It is steeped in history with its Yarn Market, Tithe Barn, Dove Cot, Gallox bridge and Dunster Castle, to name just a few sights.
Relax & Enjoy
Chapel House can offer you a place to rest after visiting all or some of those sights, whether you are after breakfast served till 12pm, lunch from 11am, afternoon tea or just a coffee and cake, we can cater for you. We welcome families (highchairs available), walkers and have a dedicated area for people with dogs. Alongside the tea room we have a range of locally made crafts, unique gifts and homewares, children’s toys and South West gins.
Open throughout the year the quirkily decorated tea room and shop housed in the old Victorian chapel, you can’t miss us. We are proud to serve freshly cooked meals, cakes and locally sourced drinks.
